Ingredients
- beef
- soy sauce
- honey
- garlic
- onion
- sesame seeds
- vegetable oil
Method
- Slice the beef into very thin strips.
- Mix soy sauce, honey, garlic, and a little oil.
- Marinate the beef for 15 minutes.
- Cook the onion until soft.
- Add the beef and cook over high heat for 5–7 minutes.
- Sprinkle with sesame seeds and serve hot.

The word 'bulgogi' means 'fire meat', although the modern version is usually cooked in a frying pan.
