Author and platform creator
Julia Noah Makhlin
I create LapLapLa, a learning platform where complex ideas are explained through stories, memes, illustrations, animation, and a little creative chaos.
I like turning learning into an adventure: maps can tell stories, cats can explain science, capybaras can help people fall in love with books, and knowledge can feel less like a lesson and more like a curious journey.
Who is behind LapLapLa
My name is Julia Noah Makhlin. I am the author, founder, and developer of LapLapLa.
This is an independent author-led project that I build myself: from ideas and scripts to interfaces, animations, texts, and platform architecture.
LapLapLa grew out of a love for creativity, internet culture, education, and odd questions that usually begin with:
What if we explain this through cats?..
What LapLapLa is
LapLapLa is an interactive learning platform for children, teenagers, and adults.
- cats explain complex topics in simple language
- capybaras tell book stories
- raccoons explore countries and maps
- parrots introduce music from around the world
- dogs help people look at art without boring textbooks
I want learning to create curiosity, not stress. I want people to open one more tab not because they have to, but because they genuinely want to know what happens next.
Why this project exists
I always felt that the internet explains complex things either too dryly or too superficially. LapLapLa is my attempt to connect:
- education
- visual storytelling
- internet culture
- AI tools
- humor
- a sense of play
It is a project about curiosity, creativity, and the right to ask strange questions about the world.
Collaborations and contact
I am open to creative and educational collaborations, partnerships, media projects, and interesting ideas.
If learning through stories, visual language, and interactivity feels close to your work, I would be glad to connect.
